Talking Point #1
Adam and Eve were in a state of Innocence, they were not born again!
Talking Point #2
They were created to be in the presence of God in communion-fellowship
with Him. The Spirit of God was upon them, to flow into their spirit-man
corresponding with their human conscience, which was over their mind in
decision making, however they not yet made Eternal, having not yet eaten of the “Tree of Life.”
Talking Point #3
The Eternal heart of God planned upon them eating in obedience of the
“Tree of Eternal Life” making them whole and complete, Eternal as He is.
So, this means all of human kind who are not born of His Spirit are still void
of His plan for their lives!
Talking Point #4
The deception comes from the deceiver to replace or substitute their need for
Eternal Life by telling them that the void they are looking to fill is the fruit
of the “Tree of the Knowledge Good & Evil!” Entering this deception comes
with baggage – the Spirit of Self Indulgence & Destruction which is from
the Devil! Adam & Eve loose their fellowship with God where His Spirit
guided them in every plan being in sync and aligned with His plans and
purposes, and are now operating in their fallen state through their 5 physical senses.
Talking Point #5
The unfulfillment of this void and hunger to fill the void in Adam and Eve’s
life was what the enemy used against them, changing their course from
eating of the “Tree of Life” and being made whole and complete, but instead
they respond against obedience toward God’s words and go with the Spirit
of Self desires which went against God’s protection in their lives. Thus they
experience separation from God and a loss of His presence and guidance
living a life of sin in their destructive path!!!
Talking Point # 6
Adam & Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden, and were enslaved by
their sin in their will, brought under the influence and bondage of the Devil
suffering a fallen life!
Talking Point #7
Adam & Eve’s Spirit of Self Indulgence for the fruit, a substitute for Eternal
Life did not fulfill their lives. Their temptation for the fruit, which promises them to fill their empty void for God, was a lie, and they lost out in the fall.
The result of our actions had consequences. Our main problem in addiction is a spiritual problem which cannot be solved by the theory of man!
Addictions come through spiritual problems which can be discerned and
understood and delivered from in restoration through the help of the Holy
Scriptures and His anointing. All addictions came into our lives through our sins! “Sin” is our “Drug of Choice!”
The Root Of Sin Makes Slaves
Because of our wrong desires, temptations and seductions of the enemy we yielded ourselves to “sin” and because sin is full of deceit, what was told us by the enemy was that we could experience our sin without consequence!
We fell for the huge lie of the enemy that came into our life to destroy us!
After giving ourselves to our wrong desires several times, our sin took
control of our lives, we where enslaved in our will as the demon that lured
us, and set a stronghold or prison cell in our mind, dominated us in a
destruction path to destroy our lives!
Some may say they had a bad experience which later caused them to become an addict, however, no outside influence is the true cause or reason for us laying blame on someone else. We cannot give our self a pass for yielding to the enemy’s temptations. No, we are the responsible ones who at the time of temptation became seduced by the crafty thoughts of the enemy who continued to batter our mind by saying “the odds are on your side,” that you are exempt, you will never become an addicted, and that’s just for weak people!
But when we enter sin and repeat this experience that’s where we do it in
“sin’s deception,” in “sin’s trick” that creeps in on us and brings control
over that area of our lives!!! The enemy the devil leads us into a false reality which is a “lie” and then entraps us when we yield to it! (2 Tim, 2:26) It is pure delusion…yet we bit into the fruit because we have a Spirit of Self Indulgence…
Example: A fish may desire to eat that worm on the end of that fishing pole.
He doesn’t see the pole, nor does he see the line and the hook which he will bite into to cost him his life but will make someone a good dinner. The same is true about you when your desire led you into that sin which would “hook” you into your addiction, isn’t that right???
James says this about your wrong desires…
James 1:14-15” But each one is tempted when HE IS DRAWN AWAY BY
HIS OWN DESIRES AND ENTICED. Then when LUST has conceived, it
brings forth SIN: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth DEATH”.
How We Got Into The Destructive Path...
Now you see how you got into this mess! Granted behind every work of the
flesh there is the demon who is assigned to push the envelope, but the enemy came to your door, knocked and knocked again, you opened the door as he said, “Here is a box of poison rattle snakes, sign here!” By an example we could say “If you signed for the package because you where drawn away… by your own DESIRES and caved at this ENTICEMENT, that it was your LUST or DESIRE which was the real here, cause when you could have resisted. Yup, you “Sin” cause a conception… the birthing of your own
DESTRUCTIVE PATH!!!
“Strongholds or Prison Cells” as the Bible explains them, are bondages in
our lives. Yahshua tells us in Luke 4 that He has come to “loose the captives, and set these prisoners free!” The Apostle Paul tells us “Give no opportunity to the devil!” (Eph. 4:27)
Because we sin, we become the slaves to our sin and sin becomes our
master! (Jn. 8:34; Rom 6:20) The bondage of addictions has its root in the
sins that which we pleasure! (Heb. 11:25)
We have a choice to make in our lives in receiving Yahsua as our Lord and
Savior!
Resisting Temptation
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you.
THE THIEF COMES TO KILL, STEAL, AND DESTROY YOUR LIFE…
